Our Beginning
NabaTec Farm started during one of the most disruptive periods in recent memory. When global supply chains buckled during COVID-19, it became clear just how vulnerable Kuwait's food supply was to forces outside its control. Imported fresh produce became unreliable, inconsistent, and often compromised in quality by the time it reached shelves.
That disruption became the catalyst. A group of entrepreneurs, each with complementary backgrounds and a shared commitment to build something meaningful, came together around a clear question: what would it take to produce premium-quality fruits and vegetables locally, reliably, and at scale?
The answer was vertical farming. By combining advanced Korean agricultural technology with a fully controlled indoor environment, NabaTec Farm was designed from the ground up to take the unpredictable variables out of traditional farming.
No seasonal limitations. No dependence on weather. No long-distance supply chains compromising freshness.
Today, we operate from the Wafra farms area in Kuwait, growing premium fruits and vegetables in conditions that are monitored, measured, and refined continuously. What started as a moment of disruption, has become a serious operating platform built for long-term growth, and a meaningful part of where farming is headed in this region.
Our mission is to grow clean, hygienic, and consistently high-quality fruits and vegetables using advanced farming technology. We are working toward a future where Kuwait's access to premium produce relies less on imports, and where the highest standards of food safety and quality are built into every step of the process.
